Plain-language overview

Privacy

Your original subscription list stays in this browser. Personal assessments can optionally be saved to your account. Signing in alone does not upload the local list. Clearing browser data may remove local entries and unfinished drafts; it does not delete account-saved assessments.

Operator and contact

FeeVeto is operated by Edward Nyarko.

For support, privacy questions, or requests concerning your account data, email inbox_business@outlook.com. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or sensitive audit information.

Information stored in this browser

Names, prices, original billing currencies, the global display-currency preference, renewal dates, categories, usage and importance choices, unified-form answers, statuses, and provider links you enter are saved using local storage. The instant-search request and guided answers use a separate local draft. A pending account-save request is kept in this tab’s session storage so sign-in or retry does not require repeating answers. Protected comparison snapshots are not stored in local or session storage.

The display currency changes illustrative examples, defaults for new entries, and the default market used for alternatives. An entered country overrides that market. It does not convert or relabel saved subscription or provider prices.

Optional accounts

FeeVeto uses Clerk for optional authentication and profile management. The main page loads Clerk’s browser software to show account controls and restore an existing session, even before you choose to sign in. These requests disclose ordinary network information to Clerk; authentication uses browser cookies and session information. If you sign up or sign in, Clerk also processes the identity information and authentication method you provide on FeeVeto’s behalf. FeeVeto may store a server-only role and complimentary beta-access setting in Clerk private metadata. These settings control access only and are not subscription-audit data. FeeVeto does not copy your subscription audit into Clerk. Clerk distinguishes customer account data processed on our behalf from its own website data in its Privacy Policy; this FeeVeto notice describes how account data is used here.

Payments and premium access

New purchases are disabled for this Public Beta. The free audit does not require payment. The payment integration is prepared for a later, separately announced release; visiting FeeVeto does not start a Stripe checkout or send audit answers to Stripe.

If payments are enabled later and you choose monthly or lifetime FeeVeto Premium, Stripe processes checkout, payment methods, billing details, invoices, renewals, and payment confirmation. FeeVeto does not receive or store your complete card number. Its Cloudflare database stores your Clerk user ID together with Stripe customer, checkout, payment, subscription and invoice references, product and price identifiers, amount, currency, paid access dates, cancellation status and timestamps so the backend can grant or revoke access. Monthly and lifetime access are recorded separately. These payment records are separate from your subscription audit. Manage billing opens Stripe’s secure portal for the signed-in account when configured. Review Stripe’s Privacy Policy for details about its processing.

Alternative matching

Alternative matching sends only the selected service identifier, product type, structured must-have, nice-to-have, and not-needed requirements, an optional country code, the selected display currency as a market hint, required platform, applicable title, game, VPN server country, target language, learning level or course subject, free or paid alternative choices, advertisement and free-limit preferences, and required storage amount to its Cloudflare backend. That matching request does not send the subscription name, entered price, private notes, calculated totals, or your full subscription list. If you are signed in, it includes your Clerk session so the backend can determine whether you may receive the complete catalogue. Account saving sends additional information as described below.

Discovery can also send an optional monthly budget and its currency, switching tolerance, and structured activity or collaboration requirements. These are matching inputs, not product-analytics fields. Country and platform constraints can leave suggestions provisional when the catalogue has not verified them.

Backups and deletion

Personalising results sends the original request, current price and billing currency, activities, priorities, usage, audience, budget, switching preferences, and relevant legacy structured answers to FeeVeto’s backend for calculation. Choosing Save this audit stores those answers, a permitted comparison snapshot, source references, calculation and ranking versions, and the assessment date in Cloudflare D1 under your verified Clerk user ID. Reevaluation adds a new assessment without replacing earlier history. Only the owning account can retrieve it, and restricted historical comparisons require current Premium access. No entire browser subscription list is uploaded automatically.

Choosing Save and review in the subscription form while signed in also saves the submitted entry’s name, spending, billing currency, usage, importance, and structured requirements as an account assessment. Private notes stay in your browser. Guest saves remain browser-only. Signing in does not upload past entries: edit an entry and save it while signed in to add it to your account. Edits to the same browser entry add dated assessments under the same account audit. An unfinished save is kept in this tab for retry, tied to the account that requested it; another account cannot receive it automatically.

Exporting creates a JSON backup on your device. Importing reads the file you choose in your browser. You can delete individual entries, clear the audit, or remove this site’s data through browser settings.

Local exports and local deletion affect browser subscriptions, not account history. Account assessments are retained until explicitly removed from account storage; this release does not yet offer a self-service account-history deletion or export interface. Deleting a Clerk profile does not automatically delete saved assessments from FeeVeto’s database. To request access, export, or deletion of account-saved assessments, contact inbox_business@outlook.com. Account ownership must be verified before account data is provided or removed. Avoid sensitive details in your request.

Optional measurement and feedback

Product measurement is off unless you choose to allow it below or in the footer. It uses FeeVeto’s own Cloudflare endpoint and Analytics Engine—not an advertising tracker or a third-party browser analytics script. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal disables both measurement and feedback submission.

Allowed events record page visits, intent submissions, recognized services, suggestion requests and result-count buckets, official-link clicks, advanced-review starts and completions, sign-up button clicks, and successful account saves. The fields are fixed event names, recognized service IDs, a broad intent category, the interface section, and a small result-count bucket. A yes/no marker in your browser can distinguish a returning browser visit; it is not a unique identifier and does not track you across devices.

We do not put free-text requests, unknown service names, prices, totals, notes, questionnaire answers, email addresses, Clerk IDs, session tokens, IP addresses, or full URLs in product events. Cloudflare still processes network information to deliver and secure requests. A short-lived per-IP rate limiter protects the event endpoint; that IP is not written to the analytics dataset. Event timestamps are generated by Cloudflare. These are aggregate event counts, not a complete record of individual people or purchases.

“Was this useful?” sends only your explicit yes/no choice, a fixed reason if you choose no, the known service ID when available, and the interface section. It works without enabling broader measurement, but respects browser privacy signals. There is no free-text feedback field and no feedback sent merely because the control is shown. If sending fails, FeeVeto says so and offers Retry.

Analytics Engine retains event data for its service retention period (currently three months). There are no application-managed copies or user-level analytics profiles. Turning measurement off stops new product events and removes the returning-visit marker; it cannot identify or delete an earlier anonymous event. You can clear the preference through browser settings.

Your measurement preference

You can change this at any time. The free audit and account features do not depend on it.

Website hosting

FeeVeto’s production site and protected API use Cloudflare hosting. Cloudflare processes ordinary network request information needed to operate and secure the service. Review the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Provider and alternative links open third-party websites. Information you submit there is governed by the destination service. FeeVeto does not add affiliate or tracking parameters to these links.
